My research focuses on developing new science and technologies in the area

• • ultrathin/thin films (by plasma processes),
  • 2D materials like graphene, MXene, MoS2, WS2, hBN, etc,
  • Shape memory polymer composites and other polymer/waste composites for advancing practical applications in subject of energy, environment, protection and smart systems.

In my lab, the aforementioned materials are developed and investigated for the following research:

tribology, corrosion protection, heavy metal sensor development, batteries, motion/strain sensors, sensors based on smart materials, smart systems, radiation shielding systems, electrical and thermal systems.
